How to Review an International Contract Before Signing

An international contract needs to reflect how the parties will deliver, pay and handle problems. A review should check those arrangements as well as the wording.

Read the agreement alongside the transaction

Provide the draft agreement together with the agreed commercial terms, delivery arrangements and payment instructions. Explain which points are still being negotiated. This allows the reviewer to identify inconsistencies and propose amendments that reflect what the parties intend to do.
